SELOUS SAFARI CAMP

Each of the twelve safari tents is raised off the ground on a wooden platform and has a homely interior with rugs, wooden furnishings and large comfortable beds. RUFIJI RIVER CAMP
Accommodation: Nested on the edge of the mighty Rufiji River on the north eastern side near the Selous Game Reserve, the camp comprises of twenty tents facing the sunset, with comfortable beds, walled en-suite facilities, mosquito netting and all of the comfortable equipment of a lodge. Each tent has a private veranda under a roof of local straw (makuti) that creates the perfect place for reading, writing or just resting in the shade.220-volt electricity available at the bar for video camera charging. Accommodation: This camp is situated in the cooler highlands in a valley in the Beho Beho mountains in the Selous Game Reserve. Accommodation: The Retreat, located in Northern Selous, is a twelve-suite exquisite hideaway that offers complete seclusion in the heart of remote bush lands. The Retreat offers four different styles of accommodation.
Twelve spaciously 100–220 m², more than six meter high tented suites under palm thatched roofs with expansive distance between each suite have been constructed in three independent units to correspond with the surrounding habitat, whilst guaranteeing privacy and romance. Accommodation: Ten spacious, elevated, luxury tents offering a variety of twin or double bed arrangements. Extra beds are available for children or to accommodate a third person. All lighting is provided by 24 hour solar and each tent stands at least eight meters away from the next ensuring absolute seclusion and privacy.The en-suite bathroom at the back of each tent is enclosed in thatch and rock over looking the wild bush. MDONYA OLD RIVER CAMP
Accommodation: traditional safari canvas tents scattered in a spacious area under the shade of large sycamore fig trees and nestled along the curving banks of a sand-river. The tents are comfortably furnished with double or twin beds and with large verandahs where one can relax and observe the wildlife around. There is no electricity (except in the office, where camera and other batteries can be charged up overnight). Each tent overlooks the Mdonya old sand river, where game of all kinds browses through the day and night.All the tents have ensuite bathrooms with dressing room, open-roofed shower and separate flush toilet. There are candles, a torch and oil lamps are left on the verandas and in the bathrooms, at night. There are two family tents, with separate room zipped on in place of the veranda. the extra room contains twin beds and there is a partition with zip between the two chambers.
The central main bedroom has a double bed. At the back is a dressing area with washstand. the bathroom is behind that, with a flush loo and shower open to the sky.

JONGOMERO CAMP
Accommodation: Located on the banks of a seasonal sand river which bears the same name, accommodation at Jongomero comprises eight large and well-appointed tented suites, all built on raised wooden platforms and under enormous thatched roofs that also encompass a spacious private veranda. All tents are spread out, situated on the edge of the sand river which is often used by a multitude of different animals to make their way to the river system for water. The dining and living areas are both original and very comfortable offering a great vantage to take in the sights and sounds of the African bush that surrounds the camp, as does the natural "hippo friendly" swimming pool for those hot days. The camp itself is not fenced and animals are free to pass through as they please. Elephants are daily and nightly visitors to the camp, vast herds of buffalo come within close proximity to the camp itself. Lions occasionally pass through and once every so often the tracks of a leopard can be seen winding down the main pathway as they make their way through the camp; however the tents are perfectly secure and "askaris" are provided to accompany guests to the main dining tent and living areas.

MWAGUSI SAFARI CAMP
Accommodation: The camp is built almost entirely from organic natural materials with guests being treated to a “unique” tented safari experience. Each en-suite tent is comfortably secured under a cooling thatched roof and nestled snuggly into the sandy banks of the Mwagusi River. Almost all of the camp is built from natural materials such as grass thatch, timber, drift wood, stones and reeds, allowing the camp to be in perfect balance and harmony with its surroundings. Each “banda” (meaning ‘temporary shelter’) consists of a large spacious tent sheltered by a cooling thatch roof and set on a polished red floor. Each banda has en-suite facilities with flushing toilet, an unlimited supply of hot water, shower, sink, shelving, a large mirror and good night-time lighting. Built using stones, driftwood and bones the bathroom is an area of interesting, unique and original design. Thick comfortable towels and locally produced clove soap are provided.An efficient same-day laundry service that is free of charge is offered. The tented living area includes dressing table and mirror, trunk for storage, comfortable beds with high-density mattresses, safari style chairs and bedside tables for night-time reading. All the “bandas” are built into the sandy banks of the Mwagusi River providing their own private and secluded view. Each has large covered verandah, with a comfortable cushioned seating area and swinging hammock, making this the perfect place to relax and view the passing wildlife.

Accommodation: Ruaha Hilltop Lodge is situated on a hill with wonderful panoramic views over the game reserve. The luxury self contained thatched-roof cottages are very comfortable and private, each with its own balcony with a beautiful view. Water is heated by solar power. The reception, dining room and bar are all under one roof, with a gallery to enjoy the spectacular African sunrise and sunset.
